Our Commitment to Privacy
Protecting your privacy is essential and fundamental to your business and ours.  We recognize that the privacy and importance of personal customer information, and we strive to operate our business in a manner that justifies your choice of Bsquared services. 

Bsquared provides this notice to explain how we work to protect your private online information. We utilize specific ideal practices and choices that affect the way your information is collected and used.  To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

Bsquared takes great pride in personally building a trusted relationship with each and every one of our clients. Background checks are done on all Bsquared employees.  Employees and sub-contractors of Bsquared complete a non-disclosure agreement before beginning employment to insure Accountant-Client privilege protection.

The Information We Collect
We collect certain personal information so that we may prepare your tax return.  This information typically includes, for example, your name, address and certain other data such as your social security number, income and deductions data, and other personal information about you and your dependents that are needed for tax return preparation and filing.  This information may also include system information, such as your operating system version, internet protocol (IP) address and the number of times you electronically file using the software and the website from which your tax return preparation originated.  The Internal Revenue Service (*IRS) requires us to collect certain system information in connection with electronic filing of tax returns.

For Business Owners:
We also collect information regarding your third party customers and/or vendors.  This information will be used solely for the purpose of obtaining the third parties data such as payment history, tax identification numbers and other information required to accurately complete tax returns and other financial obligations.

We may collect information about you from the following categories and sources:

  • Information you provide to us on applications or other forms (examples include name, address, social security number, assets and income.)
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others (examples include your account balances, payment history, debit/credit card usage.)
  • Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies (examples include your Credit worthiness and credit history.)
  • As required by the USA PATRIOT Act, we also collect information and take actions necessary to verify your identification.

How We Use Information
Any of the information we collect from you may be use in one of the following ways:

  • To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.)
  • To improve client service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your client service requests and support needs.)

  • We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive.  Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Our Commitment to Data Security & Protection
Bsquared maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable law and federal standards that are designed to restrict access to your personal information.  These include but are not limited to:  programs and specifications for physical security and records retention and disposal, computer and communication security measures reflected in system design, password protection, and data management practices.

Cloudvara Agreement
We have partnered with Cloudvara, LLC to provide out client with a fully secured, managed, and maintained cloud hosted infrastructure.  Cloudvara servers are backed up daily on SAS 70 compliant data centers.  All client information is user id and password protected.

Policy Changes
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy, and will post any revisions on its website located at WWW.ASKBSQUARED.COM. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of our services and web site will be subject to the then-current privacy policy.
